Praziquantel allows the dog’s body to digest the worms, which means that whole worms will rarely be seen in your dogs stool after the medication has been administered. Tapeworm Deworming Tablets do not require a prescription. Talk to your veterinarian if adverse reactions such as vomiting and diarrhea occur.
